About Kamishin Ryu Jiujitsu
Kamishin Ryu is a traditional Japanese jiujitsu system that combines striking, grappling, joint manipulation, and throwing techniques into a comprehensive self-defense art.
Unlike sport-focused grappling arts, Kamishin Ryu emphasizes practical self-defense for real-world situations, including:
- Defense against multiple attackers
- Standing and ground fighting integration
- Weapons defense and disarmament
- Control and restraint techniques
- Integration with striking arts
Our instructors, Sensei Carissa Morris (5th Degree) and Sensei Neil Morris (5th Degree), bring decades of experience in this traditional art.
